We are thrilled to announce the call for papers for the “Entrepreneurship for Sustainability International Workshop” which will be held here in Luxembourg on May 14th. The deadline for abstract submission is 29 February 2024.

Organised by our Entrepreneurship team in cooperation with the Global Entrepreneurship Monitoring (GEM), the workshop will bring together practitioners, scholars, and policymakers interested in the role of entrepreneurship in society. The workshop aims to gather leading actors in the European entrepreneurial ecosystem to discuss the evolving role of entrepreneurship, with a specific emphasis on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (hashtag#UNSDG), and Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (hashtag#ESG) initiatives. We will explore the opportunities and challenges entrepreneurs face in a rapidly changing world, and their role in sustainable development. We are also happy to share that there will be two Keynote speakers David Halabisky (OECD - OCDE) and Sreevas Sahasranamam, (Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, UK). We will notify the authors of accepted papers by the end of March. We welcome papers providing practical insights, empirical evidence, and case studies on topics including strategies for entrepreneurs to adapt to and to make the most of environmental challenges, the role of digital transformation in advancing sustainable entrepreneurship and the role of sustainable finance in supporting sustainable entrepreneurship, among others.
