Calculations of pipe-soil interactions simulated with ABAQUS connector units do not converge?

When simulating the pipe-soil interaction of a 1000m long pipe, I used the connector unit in ABAQUS to simulate the non-linear springs, the same way I calculated the 20m pipe successfully, but I can't calculate the 1000m, what is the cause of this? Is there any other way to simulate pipe-soil interaction?
