Hello Everyone,
I am now an independent research that is not affiliated with any university or company as such. I am wondering what is the best way to get access to the paid journal articles (e.g. using a subscription services, etc)? When I was a part of the university, I used to get access through Shibboleth and Athens. I have contacted them and they have informed me that they only cater to education institution. My university does have an alumni programme for an annual fees but that only grants access to the physical library and I won't be able to access any online resources including Shibboleth.
I would like to get an access to physiological and toxicological journal articles. Especially, cardiovascular system, nervous system, endocrine system, pulmonary system, addiction and toxicology. I understand that I can pay for access to individual articles or journals but that would quickly add up the cost beyond what I may be prepared to pay.
Please suggest me any packages or subscription services that I can use as an independent researcher.
