During the pandemic, the development of internet and mobile banking accelerated. It is also related to the fact that through online banking, citizens can also connect with other institutions, offices, health care institutions, other financial institutions that are part of the bank's capital group, etc. Some online banks offer the possibility of setting up a website, an online sales platform offered products or services, websites of an online store, accounting and legal services, tax advisory services, etc. for business entities from the SME sector that will set up a company account at a specific online bank. In addition, through the internet banking account, you can connect with public institutions, including institutions of the tax system, social security system, local government institutions and other institutions where citizens deal with various official matters. Since during the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) pandemic, most citizens made almost all their affairs, purchases, payments, etc. remotely via the Internet, this factor also contributed to the growth of online banking. On the other hand, during the Coronavirus pandemic, the scale of lending as part of granting economic loans to enterprises and companies as well as consumer loans taken by individual customers decreased significantly. Many companies and enterprises reduced the scale of their economic activity, did not implement investments and therefore did not need loans. In addition, many business entities received financial support from the state, including subsidies to employee wages, temporary tax cuts, temporary exemption from paying contributions to the social insurance fund, refinancing fixed costs, loans on preferential terms or non-returnable, so they did not need to borrow funds in in the form of bank loans. Due to the decline in lending, many banks reported a decline in loan revenues and a decline in profits for 2020.
