Bandwidth effect on ultrasonic testing of concrete?

I am about to conduct an ultrasonic test on concrete using higher frequency signals than sth. about 50 kHz (100kHz-1mHz), and i want to buy the proper transducer.

what is the difference between narrow-band and broad-band transducers?
