It is a climate-resilient hybrid mango variety developed by the Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture (CISH), Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Known for its vibrant appearance, attractive color, and extended shelf life, Awadh Samriddhi is well-suited for both local consumption and export markets.

This variety features a medium-sized tree that reaches a height of about 15–20 feet in 15 years, making it ideal for high-density orchards and intensive urban gardening. It is a regular bearer, easy to manage, and highly suitable for space-efficient planting systems, offering consistent yield with lower maintenance.

Awadh Samridhi is a hybrid resulting from the cross-pollination of Amrapali and Vanraj mango varieties, developed by CISH to withstand hars tropical condition, It is known for being climate-resilient and producing fruit regularly. The mangoes are medium-sized, with a red color when ripe, and are expected to mature around July
