Students engage with visual materials throughout their education which enhances the need for scholarly work on the use of visual materials in education.
Based on the teachers' reasoning, I will discuss how teachers can work with visual methods. This research will discuss the implications of visual instruction and the future horizons of rhetorical theory in education.

Visual materials is an important learning tool, most especially for health science education. Video materials, in particular, has the capacity to intersperse the complex concepts of pathophysiology, drug mechanism, and other important health concepts. Moreover, it stimulates creative imagining of physiologic and pathophysiologic concepts.

As my classes contain student with lots of different first languages (other than English), visuals play a key role in clarifying and communicating concepts and meanings. They also help me slow down my speech as I can stand in front of the visuals and use them to pace and sequence my lesson.
AS A TOOL FOR INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN, visual aid is not an effective tool to enhance learning unless you deal with non-uniform student body, i.e. language or cultural differences. If not carefully managed in the presentation, visual aid leads to a waste of time and detracts from quality teaching. the current use of LCD projector int large classroom is mean as a tool to provide common delivery to large number of students simultaneously---with the assumption that the powerpoint slide supplements, NOT substitute, textbook materials. Visual aid tends to make students non-engaging. it is not productive for active learning. it may be effective tool for presentation, but not as a main teaching tool.
