I am working on a doctorate in education and leadership, self-designed, specifically focused on musical intelligences in early childhood learning centers besides just Head Start. For almost eight years I have observed the flows and flaws of higher education in the 21st century from a very personal viewpoint. I am excited to learn of others views and beliefs about the nature of reality and how this affects education in the 21st century. Are flow and music sources of creativity and happiness itself and therefore guaranteed by the bill of rights to all stakeholders, including those considered disabled instead of multi-talented, or too young to understand? After raising and homeschooling five very unique and creative children, I have a unique lens to view a postmodern perspective based on music as the source of the universe itself. How can we include this all-important connection once experienced in nature as the ultimate teacher in online forums and education done mostly on a computer alone at a desk?
