Thanks again for sending the article along as well as for the referral to the Duke program. It looks like it would be excellent training!
I am working on a research project with another child and adolescent fellow to assess similar topics as you did, regarding Spiritual Care Education, but specific to child and adolescent psychiatry.
We have not found much published specific to spiritual care education within our field but found the Spiritual Care Perspectives Scale to have a succinct way to address that among child and adolescent psychiatry fellows (except for question 6 where it speaks specifically to living with cancer/terminal illness). Would you feel comfortable to authorize us to use it (with adaptation of question 6, of course) in our study or would that authorization need to come from the copyright holder?
Feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] if it would be easier. Thanks, once again.
For my part, you may use this tool without charge and of course giving proper credit for it. Dr. Taylor may want to request any raw data only for establishing tool reliability/validity.
Dr. Elizabeth J. Taylor has continued her work on this tool. I believe her current email is [email protected] If you have difficulty reaching her, let me know.
She is also on ResearchGate, I believe. My best. -Marty
