I am currently doing research on EU-CELAC science diplomacy. I focus on the region-to-region dynamics in this policy domain and I wondered if any of you are also doing research on this topic?
Dear Joren, I am not working on this topic; however, I had the chance to be Deputy Director of the South American Defense Council - UNASUR, and CELAC was closed to. CELAC, UNASUR, CAN and MERCOSUR, were very outstanding projects in order to regionalize the relations toward the world. This is a very rich topic, and surely you will find out too many literature on this body. In my opinion, CELAC is not going to any place, and maybe you can oriented your research upon the clash between realist point of views disguised of liberal institutions. Pacific and Atlantic fights, Liberalism and Protectionism economic face. I hope it could help you.
