Our Horticulture section in NIBIO have focus on wild berries. Some forest owners who have created a wild berry Group, are interested, and we are planning things together. However, no big things are going on at present, but we are into a grant.

Wild berries could be a very potent source of enhanced physiological traits and better /robust gene for the domesticated or commercial cultivars. It can serve as a geenpool for several resistant and hardiness traits.
