Fundamentally, the physical conditions to ensure comfort in any space are the same. However, warehouses are not, in general, designed to be comfortable and will therefore need some adaptation to be used as workplace or home. Passive measures such as thermal insulation and inertia, natural ventilation, daylighting, passive solar heting or passive ventilative cooling should of course be preferreed. using checklists is the best way knowing how to use architecture primarily as a tool for achieving a plan green planning and design. One of the most important and critical problems in architecture is sustainability and design in an environmentally compatible way. Environmental sustainability cannot be achieved except by organizing human activities and changing their way of thinking so that natural resources are preserved for the future. The phenomenon of global warming and the problem of environmental pollution are considered the major humanitarian issues around the world, whereas the role of the building sector in developing these problems is accelerating. Environmental building is a route between ordinary buildings and sustainable buildings to achieve sustainable construction.
According to this model there are six basic areas of consideration for achieving Environmental buildings status: Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Innovation and Design Process.
