Are there case studies of using geomorphic or paleoflood evidence to support a FEMA flood map revision or amendment?

I am looking for examples of flood studies, particularly National Flood Insurance Program related, that used geomorphic, geophysical, or paleo flood techniques to support a FEMA floodplain map revision, amendment, or flood insurance study.
