Thanks Peter. I do appreciate your response. I do have access to lots of research reports and article from Pakistan, I am looking for reports and articles from India.

When it comes to politicization of academics in south Asia, there are definitive studies which have made their presence felt across the mentioned nations. There have been instances when the content of the text books altered as per the whims of the incumbent government. In this regard, it has to be understood that all the countries mentioned have been former colonies of the the British empire and have a past which is turbulent in nature. It is but natural that all this get reflected in the course curricula as well.
