I'm working in a task for using gamma radio isotopes for the scanning of distillation columns in petrochemical industry. the problem is the customers asked about the standard such as the standards used in NDT.
Do you mean a standard method or calibration standards. Any standard for gamma scanning can be adapted. Calibration standards should be in the required energy range. If you are attempting to quantify isotopes, then an appropriate calibration is necessary. If you are performing a safety analysis, dose rate is important. More information is needed concerning the purpose of the investigation.
if i understand your question for the technique of gamma scanning there is not yet a standard for this method unlike the NDT, but the International Society for Tracer and Radiation Applications (ISTRA) is in the process of establishing standrads for the technique of gamma scanning and radiotracers.
Here, in our Centre for Applications of Nuclear Technique in Industry the gamma CT systems have been designed and fabricated for pipe and column inspection. The object size can be few meters in diameter.
