I am looking for guidelines to write systematic review of case reports of rare condition. Can PRISMA statement and checklist be used for it? Or are there any specific guidelines? Please provide a link if available.
This is not a guideline but is a complete review of how to evaluate the quality and do the syntesis.

Prajjwal Raj Bhattarai I would say PRISMA would be more suitable than QUORUM as it is for Meta-analysis of RCTs.
I am not aware of any guidelines for systematic review of case reports. We had published a systematic analysis of missed central venous guide wires earlier. I hope this article will be helpful.

Sir, I was suffering from the same problem. Then certain facts I recognised after I had gone through several systematic reviews of case reports/series as follows,
1. Yes, you can use PRISMA flow chart.
2. For Methodological assessment, you will have to make a narrative synthesis of all the reports including outcome variables.
