Very thoughtful post. I don't think , there is any compound nanomaterials developed so far , quite unlike compound chemical fertilizers.But , there are definite headway towards developing nanocomposites..
Microfertilizers can be in the form of nanoparticles. Their advantage is that they gradually enter the plant from the surface of the grain and are used in small quantities. They should be used at concentrations an order of magnitude lower than their maximum permissible concentration. look at our work.
