In order to obtain CO2 gas, I used two powder such as sodium hydrogen carbonate(NaHCO3) and citric acid(C6H8O7). Two powders are mixed by water for making aqueous solution. However, reaction time is too long for my use.

As you know, there are many method to promote reaction time such as increase surface area by grind reaction powder, temparature of the fluids and employing catalysts. For my use, prior two methods are not proper, and but catalysts employment may be proper. Although use of catalysts is adequate way, I couldn't find which material is proper for above acid-base reaction until now. I worried about that proper material doesn't exist.

Let me know whether there are proper catalyst or not.

Additionally, as you can, I hope to know reaction time contant(k) between recommanded material and above reaction.

Thank you.
