Are there any ab-initio tools that can predict refractive indices of polymer composite material? Let's say I am using A, B and C, three (or more) components to create an optical material (composite). Knowing what A, B and C are and their ratios in the composite, can the refractive index of the final composite be predicted -- and by composite I mean actual covalently linked uniform mixture of A, B and C, not just physical mixture?
