The Ti6Al4V is considered a super plastic alloy.   The main application of the alloy in aerospace  is to manufacture the turbine plates for the aerospace engine.  I assume the alloy has good performance under low cycle-high stress fatigue phenomenon.

Ti6Al4V is a well-known grade 5 Titanium alloy amongst all the titanium alloys used in aerospace industry (60% of all Ti-alloys). It is used in many applications such as aircraft gas turbine engine disks, engine components, aircraft structural components, aerospace fasteners and High-performance automatic parts. 

It is used for high-moderate temperature applications to withstand high fatigue cycle and corrosion.  Structural components are subjected to low fatigue cycle compared with other applications. 

However, the fatigue strength is extremely sensitive to prior thermomechanical processing as it influences microstructure and phase transformations.
