Just like other living species, the abilities of human beings must also be limited. Ants in an ant colony do not move away more than a few meters. Some animals travel a few kilo meters searching food. Birds travel much more, some even a few thousand kilo meters. Human species have a much larger range for exploration. However, it is not unlimited. To imagine that we can achieve everything we can think of is a form of illusion. This is not any negative thinking, this realization can save a lot of unnecessary and wasteful spending by us.
Yes, I think human beings are limited by the finitude of their memory, their will, and their reason.
We can only use a portion of our brain at the present stage of civilization. If maximum portion of human brain can be used, man can perform many things which we cannot even think today. If our present civilization exists for another 10,000 years at least, perhaps we may observe such days.
But even in those days, everything may not be understood. Understanding of one subject in science always open a series of new subjects which require further study.
