I just added an update for my book on translation teaching: Tips for language teachers and translation instructors.

I am eager to know whether the activity I am suggesting in the update to my project would be useful to you, whatever the target language you happen to be teaching translation from English into.

Based on your answers, and languages represented, I will decide whether to continue in English, for an international readership, or to write in French.

At a theoretical level, I guess I am asking how far translation teaching and the translation process can be independant from the pair of languages one happens to work with.
