Are hydrolyzed anhydrides still reacting?

The anhydrides are probably hydrolzed in an aqueatic acid solution. Can the hydrolyzed anhydrides still undergo an acylation reaction like for example a Schotten-Baumann reaction as shown in the attached picture?

I'd be thankful about every kind of advice. Thank you all so much in advance! :)

In Aquatic acid hydrolysis of anhydries byproduct will not go for again acylation. Again that will be depends on the reaction condition. I guess after formation of acid by product in acidic aqueous reflux condition decarboxylation of the acid may happen (chances are more).
