Has anyone any thoughts or are aware of any research when it comes to Intuition vs Sensing when it comes to entrepreneurs?
I have found, for example, The 16 personalities, which are based on Myers Briggs - (MBTI) which is an introspective self-report questionnaire indicating differing psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions
And I have found one (1) profile that they call The Entrepreneurial. ESTP - Extraverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Prospecting - https://www.16personalities.com/
So, my Question is
-has any seen or being aware of any research about if entrepreneurs are or could be more of the Intuitive person or personality profile?
I.e., Extrovert/introvert, Intuitive, Think....etc.
This based on personality typology, e.g., - Sense perception, versus Intuition.
"Sensing" S and "Intuition" (N) are about how we gather information and which information we trust more strongly.
Sense perception: Perception of the world takes place directly via the five senses. The primary interest lies in the existing. Prefer information that is practical and concrete, i.e. here and now and what it means for something to remain as it is.
Intuition: Perception of the world takes place indirectly via the subconscious. The primary interest is in possibilities - what something could be or become. "What if...?" Prefers information that is theoretical and extensible, i.e. information that can change through a change of perspective.
There has been some research on the relationship between personality traits and entrepreneurship. However, it is important to note that entrepreneurship is a multi-faceted construct and personality is just one of the many factors that contribute to an individual's decision to become an entrepreneur.
One study by the Journal of Business Venturing found that entrepreneurs tend to score higher on measures of extraversion, openness to experience, and neuroticism compared to non-entrepreneurs. This study also found that entrepreneurs tend to score lower on measures of agreeableness and conscientiousness.
Another study by the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology found that entrepreneurs tend to score higher on measures of emotional stability and self-esteem, and lower on measures of agreeableness.
In terms of intuition and sensing, there hasn't been a specific research on if entrepreneurs are more intuitive or more sensing person or personality profile. However, it is known that entrepreneurs tend to have a high level of intuition and a strong ability to recognize patterns and possibilities, which can be beneficial for identifying new opportunities and creating innovative solutions. They also need to have a good sense of the present and the ability to pay attention to details, which can be beneficial for managing day-to-day operations and making practical decisions.
It's worth noting that personality is not the only factor that contributes to an individual's decision to become an entrepreneur, and that other factors such as skills, experience, and access to resources also play a role. Therefore, it's difficult to make a definitive statement about the relationship between personality and entrepreneurship.

I was a bit aware that entrepreneurs could score high on - Extraversion, but especially Openness.
Also - lower on measures of agreeableness and conscientiousness. But I did not know of - that they also scored high on neuroticism. Very interesting!
(This study of the journal of Business Venturing seems to relate to the Big five.)

Entrepreneurs requires both, he/she should have power of intuition as well as sensing. Whenever a decision is required in a limited time period the entrepreneurs should have strong sense to understand, the upcoming situation also in a given situation of market his intuition can help in adopting the right path.

I have previously seen that when it comes to measurements of these some tests refer to these as - The second pair of psychological preferences is Sensing and Intuition. E.g., - do you pay more attention to information that comes in through your five senses (Sensing), or do you pay more attention to the patterns and possibilities that you see in the information you receive (Intuition)
As both. (entrepreneurs). Both can then appear on the dimension if there is some kind of balance, i.e., somewhere around fifty-fifty or 55%-45%, etc, Intuitive-Realistic. is that how your thoughts go?
