Yes they are made of carbon. Even a diamond made of carbon are flammable; however; they require a match to light them.
CNTs are completely carbonaceous and carbon is what you get after things burn out.
They might disintegrate but not physically burn
Actually, ones added it to some polymer in order to increase it's flash point, since the polymer has got more thermal conductive! It should work!

I would like to inform you that yes CNTs are flammable and they have to be used carefully especially when used in powder form. For instance MWNTs present:
1. Lower Explosive Limit =180 g/m3 (EN 14034-3)
2. Minimum Ignition Energy = > 10 J (VDI 2263)
3. Explosive Properties Kst = 42 bar × m / s (VDI 2263)
4. Explosibility class= ST1 (VDI 2263)

Dear Andreas, do you have any paper where I can find CNTs to be flammable.I had got two different results.In one case when i had added multiwall CNTs in mineral oil the flash and the fire point decreased whereas in the other test the falsh and the fire point increased.(though the viscosities were different the first one was with 460cST while the other one was with 250 cSt)
I'd suggest using silicone oil or/and measuring the thermal and rheological parameters of the mixture, since the flash point does depend on these.
CNT is not flammable, as far as I know. They degrade at a higher temperature.
Actually it is a hole discussions whether CNT have enough oxygen to oxydate or not.
All CNT should decompose in the oxidative environment before reaching 900 ̊C. We have synthesized MWCNT and purified (>96%) and TGA analysis shown that oxidation temperature is ca. 460-700 °C. You should run TGA to your CNT to know what is the oxidation temperature range. And do not forget that oxidation product of carbonaceous materials is CO2 and it is not flammable.
Carbon Nanotubes are NANOPOWDER and as such they are flammable. All nanopowders should be handled with precaution. The thermal degradation is no point to discuss in this talk...
I have added CNT in mineral oil and tested it for fire and flash point. both increased. but i read that cnt s are flamable. so flash and fire point should decrease, isnt it? please suggest.
there is at least an article showing that actually the thermal conduction's specific parameters are enhanced by adding cnt s and consequently the material starts burning harder
