Péter Kemény its kind of subtle, don't you think not considering the 'human' element within scope of defining entrepreneurial ecosystem would be neglecting the a key aspect of entrepreneurial ecosystem which we call as 'culture'? Culture is derivative of human interaction and defines the flow of knowledge and interactions between human elements of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Several researchers have pointed out social linkages and culture form the unique 'binding glue' as well define the peculiarities or personalities of different entrepreneurial ecosystems.

I would add to the comments that a positive business climate with environmental factors in conditions that allow business development, facilitate investment, innovation, and in general competitiveness developing the market, but this can include companies of various sectors and sizes.

On the other hand, the entrepreneurial ecosystem seeks to contribute more to smaller companies, in early stages and where it is also intended to be facilitators for the development of the company by promoting improvement in human capital, access to financing, promoting strategic alliances, supporting research , innovation and technological development, and in general facilitating conditions for micro or small businesses to grow.

That is a great question. Perhaps, they overlap; however, the climate seems to point to the present, and the ecosystem is more focused on how the model/paradigm works. They both change over time, but the climate would help ask what is the outlook of the industry, et cetera.

Climate is an analogy to how it goes, we could be entering in many variables, usualky it goes with culure and ways of work as daily basis, but it can go to anything to se how it is.

An ecosystem id a complex structurr which is dynamic and encompasses many things. Your question goes attached with entrepreneurial, which can or not be business related

Entrepreneurial ecosystem refers to the relationship between a specific business entity with focus on entrepreneurship factors. On the other hand, Business climate deals with relationship between businesses cooperating with each other against the background of specific financial, economic, political, and social conditions.

• Azam Pasha quite agree with the fact that if you remove the human part you avoid some really tricky questions when it comes to growth and lauching entrepreneurial things (Like HR... such a simple challenge to tackel ;) ). If I try to translate it with the french exemple, it would be something like. Entrepreneurial ecosystem = VC, incubator, clubs, companies within an indutry eg... Business climate = readiness of the HEI to form students to specific skills, state policy (not the specific organisation like French tech I would put in the entrepreneurial ecosystem)... Entrepreneurial ecosystem = concrete life/ Business climate = phylosophy and willigness toward entrepreneuship ?

Business climate refers to economical, social and political environment in which business enterprise thrives. It creates system of factors that facilitates an effective entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs are more successful when they operate in an environment in which government policies encourage and safeguard their interests and when they are accessible to financial, human and professional resources they need. An effective entrepreneurship ecosystem in a good business environment will drive business growth and innovation regardless of the business sector, age or location.

Yes, they are different. Climate is the situation in which the countries' businesses appear. But the ecosystem is fundamental, institutional and long term factors' system.

It is true the two terms are different but with a close relationship in that . a good business climate will facilitates an effective entrepreneurial ecosystem.
