Marinespecies.org is a world wide known website and data bank responsible for updated classification of LBFs and other marine species based on the latest breakthroughs and introduction of new species plus changes in evolutionary state of organism suggested by sciesntists' most recent studies. It is also a reference website for new scientists in their taxonomic sitations. However it seems not all the classifications there make sense. For instance, Paleozoic LBFs family Reichelinidae Vachard in Vachard et al., 1993 † with genera such as Reichelina Erk, 1942 and Chenella Miklukho-Maklay, 1959 †, which both have all the charachteristics of Ozawainellids and least resemblance to Schubertellids, grouped under Schubertelloidea Skinner, 1931 nom. transl. Vachard in Vachard et al., 1993 †, superfamily in marinespecies.org, when I corresponded with Prof. Leven who is expert on this group of LBFs he also believes that the named genera belong to ozawainellids.
There are questionable classifications like this in this website which makes new scientists hesitant in refering to this website or using older classifications. The greater problem is, it is not exactly clear who are responsible for such classificaions and their justificaions is also unclear to all scientific society members.
