I think Human resource will have important role initially to create any virtual platform. For example, in perspective of Higher Education - Learning Management Systems like Blackboard, canvass or any new LMS should be created and upgraded according to individual student profiles. This is the place where I think there is need for human resources.
Later on, the software using Data Analytics can help those software to learn about each individual student and change according to( Example : Amazon Alexa and Google Home Assistants)
