Hi there

I am a PhD student at university of Houston working on Engineered Cementitious Composites (ECC) using PVA fibers. In developing ECCs, fly ash is used and it seems that its chemical components has considerable effect of tensile elongation of ECC and getting strain hardening in tension. In the literature mainly the amount of fly ash is discussed and in some cases chemical components and their percentage are listed but I couldn't find anything regarding specific properties of fly ash needed to develop ECC.

I would appreciate if you give me some information about it. Thanks
