thanks for the suggestion,is it possible to make cyclic peptide ring using this software ,im able to make linear chain but couldnt get how to get cyclic form, any manual or tutorial available?
may i know how long ur peptide is? if it is 10-20 mer u can draw in chem draw.
and 2ndly which kind of cyclisation ur interested? if S_S bond formation then it can be performed and ankyne -azide cyclo addition can alsobe done after drawing just select the molecule- go to structure-select check structure and clean structure then u will get the cyclic peptide.
yes brother in chem draw 2D structure but in chem 3D u can view 3D structure i chem office package u will get it... jst draw the structure in chem draw save it in .mol format and open in chem 3D... thts it..... hope now u understood....
It depends on the kind of cyclization you want. If for instance, you want to join the terminal amino and carboxylate terminals, using Marvin sketch, you can simply drag the N-terminal amine to the C-terminal -OH of the -COOH. Then clean in 2D. You'll get your cyclized peptide. Be sure to activate structure checker to "automatic" to help you fix errors.
