Dear Eduardo

We have a Q Orbitrap spectrometer and in that case I can tell the sensitivity is in the range of 0.1 to 1 ng. If we use Cye Dye labelling for instance (2D DIGE), we have no problem to identify the spots and of course when we perform classic 2D with Coomassie staining and got visible bands, we can easily identify the proteins. We do not have experience with Bruker Micro TOF but hope this answer will help you.

Sure your answer is useful for us. We are trying to get and orbitrap shortly. But, we are now upgrading our MicrOTOF.
