Any suggestions for a drop down list to show values on cell hover in excel?

Drop down list (created using data validation) needs to be clicked every time to select a value. Is there a way which enables drop down menu to open just by hovering on the cell in excel 2010?

I have seen such things in websites but couldn't find anything for excel.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Naseem,

Thanks for the response. Yeah we can add error massage to a data validation drop down. But I am more interested in automatic opening of the validation drop-down on cell hover.

Any suggestions in this regards will be really helpful.
