I want to download reanalysis data for rainfall, minimum, and maximum temperature for some areas (North Central Province) in Sri Lanka. If there is anyone who knows a data source to download those reanalysis data in grid base for the period from 1970 to 2015.

You can use MERRA reanlysis :

1 : You select data product : For example "2d surface turbulent flux "
2 : Select your area of interest.
3 : Then choose the year ( They start from 1979 ) and thereafter choose your parameter : "Total Generation of Precipitation ".
If you change the data product you will find Temperature's data.
There are very different type of products for estimation and monitoring the precipitations. You could use TRMM data.

You can contact by directions available from site " http://www.meteo.gov.lk" and get required data pertaining to Ceylone which is named Srilanka many years back.

You can contact Sri Lanka Met Services by the given addresses in the web site I gave earlier. I have no access to that servive by any means as I am in India and worked only in I Met D. You should try ECMWF and APDRC data sets where you get precipitation/rainfall and air and sea temperature data of whole world or a particular region.
http://data.ceda.ac.uk/badc/cru/data/cru_ts/cru_ts_3.23/data/.You will find rainfall and maximum temperature all over the world.It is in NETCDF format.
