Any ideas on how to remove free GST from GST-fusion protein while keeping the tag intact?

I have purified my target protein with an N-ter His-GST tag. Even after size exclusion, I see equivalent amount of free GST in the mix. I want to retain the tag for downstream assays. Is there any way of removing the free GST from my sample
