I am drafting a plan on how to assess the capacity and learning needs of clinical nurses to do research. Thus, any suggestions about methods or tools which can help me answer this concern will be highly appreciated.
There are several scales to measure nurses' barriers, capacity, and readiness to research. Some of the frequently used are: the BARRIERS scale, Evidence-Based Practice (EBPQ) Questionnaire, Nurses Practice Questionnaire, Research Utilization Questionnaire, and Nurses' Readiness for Evidence-Based Practice Survey. Some of the instruments are named slightly different, but all of these scales measure some aspect of research readiness and capacity.
