I need some information about the occurrence and distribution of Eleusine in (South-) Europe (Mediterranean, Spain/Iberia) incl. Canary Islands.
Are there distribution maps?
What are the habitat differences? Especially on trampled soil, footways, pavements, sidewalk eg.

According to the most recent systematic checklist of our flora and fauna, both species have the next distribution in the Canary Islands:
- Eleusine indica ssp. indica: La Palma, La Gomera, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura.
- E. tristachya: La Palma.
So only E. indica has a wide distribution in the mentioned archipelago.
The first species is considered in the Canaries as "invasive introduced species", and E. tristachya as "introduced for sure". The reference of the mentioned checklist is:
