Getting Dispersion diagram from CST is very easy. First select your frequency range and using Eigen mode analysis, find the desired mode for which you want to draw dispersion diagram. Afterward, for that particular mode, go through the parametric sweep and set all the parameters, then click the button analyze and after that, doing deep analysis of that given iteration, you will get dispersion diagram for simple rectangular waveguide.
You can take a look into the example named "helix" - under the folder named "C:\Program Files (x86)\CST STUDIO SUITE 2015\Examples\MWS\Eigenmode\HEX\Slow Wave\helix.cst". It uses a macro for several different results from the dispersion diagram. You just copy and paste your structure in place of the helix.
JALIL ur Rehman Kazim, Marcelo B. Perotoni Thanx ,the tutorial is for the periodics stuructures ,but i want to plot a dispersion curve for a surruture no periodic.
Smrity Dwivedi thank you ,how to set the desired mode for which I want to draw dispersion diagram with CST? and for the parametric sweep i have to sweep all the parameters (EX: thickness for the WG from x value to xx value??)
