I'm looking at finished solution to implement in a smart city which is currently running on wireless technology (autonomous cars). Since this is not robust, my task is to see which vision systems is available.
I've had my eyes on Vicon and Optitrack, but at least in the Vicon system you need to at least have two cameras since it is a 3D system.
I was wondering if there are any systems like them which is a commercial product?

My understanding is that you are looking for a system that uses 2D imagery to calculate a 6 element vector (such as in robotics they call it tool configuration vector), and use it for navigation. If so, this is kind of SLAM but more than just SLAM! Currently, one of my PhD students is working on this subject area for a couple of years and results will be published soon. I am not aware of any commercial systems in this area. It is a research area. The main problem in this area of research is the accumulation of error. I suggest you look for SLAM keyword and you may find a few reported works.
