We see variations frequently in our cadavers. One of the most recent was a female whose left vertebral artery arose directly off the aortic arch instead of the left subclavian artery. I have not seen this variation in the hyoid muscles.
yes sir, its true that there are lot variations seen in most of cadavers, but most of the variations are unilateral, rarely is any variation seen bilaterally. may be there are many variations left unnoticed due to carelessness or lack of thorough knowledge of the area dissected. thank you for your reply, regards.
