I want to find an analytical solution for the hydraulic head in steady two-dimensional groundwater flow in a rectangular (plan view) aquifer, homogeneous, isotropic and constant thickness. There is also several pumping wells at arbitrary positions. The border condition are: constant head and no-flow.
I appreciate the answer.

Thanks for your answer, but the analytical solutions in the paper is for 1D case. My doubt is about 2D flow, with four boundary condition (constant head and/or no-flow) and multi-wells.
The Majumder's recomendation is very close to my question, but is for unconfined aquifer.
In other words, I need: h = h(x,y)

I think that what Dr. Dehotin was suggesting by advising you to check on our publication is that the validation of a code under development can be done in either of the two following ways:
(i) against an analytical solution; and/or
(ii) against the solution of a well contrasted (i.e. existing) mathematical/numerical model.
You may want to validate your code against a simpler case for which an analytical solution is well established and later compare the solution of your code with the one given by another 2D (or even 3D) code.

Ya he probado soluciones analíticas para casos más simples y he obtenido excelentes resultados. Ahora estoy interesado en obtener una solución con pozos de bombeo. Es cierto que pudiera comprobar contra otros modelos, pero para el caso que estoy buscando casi siempre de lo que se dispone es de soluciones numéricas. De ahí que me he reservado a no dar ese paso.

Lemuel debes revisar Journals of Hydraulics Division de la ASCE de las decadas 60 o 70 y no descarto 80, cuando yo trabaje en mi tesis de diploma revise en la antigua Hemeroteca del ISPJAE multiples journals, incluso Irrigation and Drainage Division y aparecian varias soluciones analiticas de problemas diversos. No se si el tuyo aparezca pero por el momento es todo lo que puedo decirte.
De igual forma seria muy bueno para trabajar en aquella idea de ejecutar la calibracion de Aquimpe en dos etapas...Espero no la hayas eliminado de tu lista de prioridades jajaj.

If you have a Vertical Electrical Sounding VES geophysical survey in your study area , then you could find the geoelectrical parameters for the aquifer on of them is the longitudinal conductance , this parameter follows the mode of groundwater flowing and depends on the lateral conductivity within the aquifer even if its a confined one.
