India lags behind the rest of the world when publication and research articles are concerned.Their are many constraints to writing.The biges one is lack of motivation and awareness.Moreover the art of writing and its tremendous importance is not taught to students at their mbbs level.As a result most of us donot have a habit of writing good articles though many would agree in unison that the number of cases that we see in our hospitals and their diversity is amazing and can give rise to new thoughts and if recorded can lead to good scientific articles.Also many of our institution donot have collaboration with journals which provide institutional acess.The art of data management and churning out good scientific manuscripts is perhaps a big lacunae in our medical system.Urging all intereste dpeople to comeforward so that a good network can be formed which can promote good research.
