We have microiarray chips from Affy Gene Chip Human Gene 1.0 ST arrray
With this they this they recomend to use WT PLUS Reagent Kit which first makes cRNA and then converts to cDNA for use in hyb. But we ran short of thius kit.
However we have Message AMP premire RNA amplification kit (with labling) from ambion which directly lables cRNA.
I m wondering if I can use labled cRNA with these Chips.

Hi Deepak,
I doubt that this will give you good data. The whole Affy data generation is tuned for DNA-DNA hybridization. You can get some data out but even washing is set for DNA-DNA duplexes. And I would worry about stability of RNA during whole process, particularly if 50 C washing step is used etc.
