Use of prepeg reinforced with carbon nanotubes and graphene in naval industry such as hull construction
What benefit would you be expecting from the use of such expensive and hard to process additives ? So far there have been no real benefits to mechanical performance of such modified resin matrices, all measurable effects have been associated with electrical /thermal conductivity enhancement.

It is well described teorical and experimental that graphene is a material with a huge mechanical resistance it self. Nanotubes is similar to graphene but rolled so we can suppose similar properties. For example is described in literature that the use of this materials for increase mechanical properties in Kevlar
In my opinion you have to try this additives can help but it depends in the molecular interactions between your material and graphene or nanotubes. Also for me is interesting to create new hybrid materials using graphene or nanotubes.
