Over the last few months, I have come across several posts on social media where scientists/researchers even Universities are flaunting their ranking as per AD Scientific Index https://www.adscientificindex.com/.
When I clicked on the website, I was surprised to discover that they are charging a fee (~24-30 USD) to add the information of an individual researcher.
So I started amazed if it's another scam of ‘fake' rankings.
What's your opinion?
it is predatory.
It is only depended on google scholar citations (I have no problem with that) but they are deleting some researchers from the ranking, and ask them for money to add their names. (They can find their profiles on google scholar, but they are trying to force them to pay the fees for no reason)
