I am looking for research/papers (if they exist) that describe acoustic signalling in elasmobranchs. My google searches are giving me no love so far, but it could be a matter of terminology. Essentially, I am looking for any research that describes any elasmobranch species producing sound / acoustic signals.

Hi, most works on elasmobranches are based on the auditory capacity, structure of the inner ear and attraction to certain sounds (e.g. Article The Acoustical Biology of Elasmobranchs
but until now there seems to be no evidence that they are capable of producing sound, as the authors note in this work of 2018, in which they report skills of this group of fish to learn and associate sounds:
