i am working on spectral responses of polluted soil in different bands of landsat 8. Multiple linear regression between spectral reluctance of bands and soil parameters sometimes proves to be showing non significant relationship while multiple non linear regression shows strong and significant relation between soil properties and bands reluctance.
So my question is can i use multiple non linear regression equation for spatial modeling of soil properties?
As Math is the mother of sciences, similarly the state is the father of those sciences. As without proper statistical justification there is no implementation. So draw a proper model relating your factors and co factors in a supervised way. Wish You best of LUCK! as you are doing the noble work
