Anybody would know of a source (A producer) anywhere on planet earth?
But one source not dedicated to the cosmetic industrial specialty... ($.$$, isn't it)?...
The "Polyfix" produced by BASF (Who bought "Engelhard") is much too expensive for the application I need I need to formulate.
The raw material would be a solid. Of course, an elastomer, not tacky.
I am very aware that Indian scientists (From India, huh) are very knowledgeable in rubber types of synthetis. We wouldn't need tons and tons of that raw material.
A small & medium company could face the demand.
Since it require a nitrogen blanketting, aside a few other technical vector like a closed reactor, I'm not going to dive into that.
If the raw material can not be source, the project goes on the shelves until someone bring out an industrial grade of BASF's cosmetic grade.
PS: I don't know if former owner/producer Engelhard had his product patented all over the world. Anyhow, the % ratio of the 2 polymeric elastomers as well as their molecular weights can differ as well as the end-use of one patented product.
If those 2 vectors differ, 1 patent is not a copy of the other one...
It is summer time, a little less busy as many are on vacation, but if you have suggestions...
Else, I'll think of something else, silicones?
Pierre.
