This is not possible using Abaqus/CAE. You have to edit the input file (*.inp, where * is the name of the file) and modify accordingly the element definition. The element(s) is/are defined with the *Element option. You can contact me for further details.

Smail, you should also keep in mind that your nodal coordinates and numbering may change when creating a mesh with S9R5 shell elements, if you develop a code to create the input file.
Using the pyton code in the website below you can convert your S8R5 elements to S9R5.
