Hi, a speculative design assignment I am working on has sparked a question. Is there a role that quantum theory can play in tackling climate change?

I am thinking about:

a. data analysis of the atmospheric compounds and how quantum computing could help with that

b. existing technology to build out of atoms currently for the purpose of quantum computing but the possibility to extend to other uses

c. entanglement theory and teleporting potential in the future.

Would there be any possibility of creating a database that tracks all molecules in the atmosphere, as well as creating atomic machines that could teleport carbon molecules to the atmosphere of Mars, where terraforming could then occur?

Is there any current research into the potential for teleporting molecules?

I know this all would be very far off in the future but I just want to know if there is any current research in any of these directions.

Thanks.
