Is there commercial solution for amplifying light signal with 850nm wavelength over multimode fibre?
You can use the thulium doped fiber amplifier for the first window from 790 nm to 850 nm with 690 nm/1400 nm dual pumping.

You have to specify your application. Is it e.g. LAN network, spatial division communication system, high power system, optical bistability or optical sensors?
In any case, I believe that this sort of amplifiers is in relatively early stage of research and there are small chances that you will find a commercial solution. There are physical limits and design problems - simply put: each mode is amplified separately, and requires separate pump.
Thank you Dr. Patela. My research is about radio-over- polymer fibres using 850nm VCSEL , and I can not find proper VCSEL that should be fibre coupled with 62.5um POF and high power to extend the fibre length. Higher power I got is about 0.4mW from Finisar.
Well if it is for a short link, which will be the case for POF, perhaps you might not need an optical amplifier and can get away with electrical receiver amplifier, provided noise loading is not important for you.
How much optical power you need? What is the target data rate? how much is your POF loss? Then i can answer what to do.
Dear Mohamed Atef, I'm using VCSEL with 0 dBm output power , the POF loss is around 60dB/km, while the data rate is up to 100 Mbps. Additional 10 dB optical power will be useful for my application. Thanks.
I suppose the target POF length is 100m so you have a 6dB fiber loss,3dB loss for VCSEL coupling to POF, 6dB loss for 1mm SI-POF coupling to the photodiode (400um diameter). 6dB is needed as a margin. you need an optical receiver with a sensitivity of -21dBm. 100Mbit/s , -30dBm optical receiver is commercially available every where. So you can extend the POF to a higher length of 200m. More optical power can be obtained if you used 650nm LD with 7dBm (5mW) optical power like ADL-65052TL.
